Return Eligibility

Items Eligible for Return

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following criteria:

• The item must be in its original, unused condition
• The item must be in its original packaging, if applicable
• The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date
• The item must not be damaged due to customer misuse or negligence
• Custom or personalized items may have different return terms (see below)

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

• Custom or personalized products that were made to your specific specifications
• Items that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer
• Items returned after the 30-day return period
• Items that were purchased on sale or clearance (unless defective)
• Digital products or downloadable content
• Items damaged due to customer misuse, accident, or normal wear and tear

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

1. Contact Us: Email us at info@candlenyaroma.world or use our contact form within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and reason for return.
2. Receive Authorization: We will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions.
3. Package the Item: Carefully package the item in its original packaging, if available, or in secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
4. Ship the Return: Send the item to the address provided in your return instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
5. Confirmation: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product, or damage during shipping).

If the return is due to our error, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse your return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refund Process

Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be issued for eligible returns that meet the criteria outlined in this policy. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it.

If you paid by credit or debit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. If you paid by another method, we will refund using the same method or an alternative method agreed upon.

Refund Amount

The refund amount will include:

• The full purchase price of the returned item(s)
• Original shipping costs (if the entire order is returned and the return is not due to customer error)

The refund amount will NOT include:

• Return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error)
• Any discounts or promotional codes applied to the original purchase (refund will be for the amount actually paid)

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item following our return process and place a new order for the desired item.

If you need assistance selecting a replacement item, please contact us, and we will be happy to help.

Custom and Personalized Items

Custom or personalized items are generally not eligible for return or refund unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.

If you receive a custom item that is defective or does not match your specifications due to our error, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include:

• Replacement of the defective item
• Full or partial refund
• Remaking the item to correct specifications

Please note that minor variations in color, texture, or appearance due to the handmade nature of our products are not considered defects.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately within 7 days of delivery. Please provide:

• Your order number
• Photos of the damage or defect
• Description of the issue

We will investigate the issue and, if confirmed, provide a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution at no cost to you, including return shipping if necessary.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 10 business days after we process it, please:

1. Check your bank account or credit card statement
2. Contact your bank or credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to be posted
3. Contact us if you still have not received your refund

Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must be returned following our return process.

To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

For custom orders, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun. Please contact us to discuss cancellation options for custom orders.

Processing Time

Please allow the following timeframes for return processing:

• Return Authorization: 1-2 business days after your request
• Return Shipping: Depends on your chosen shipping method
• Inspection and Processing: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
• Refund Processing: 5-10 business days after approval

Total time from return initiation to refund: approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on shipping times.
